Have you ever dreamed of taking technologies literally out of this world? Does the idea of solving the greatest challenges in the commercial space industry excite you?
On March 27-28th, innovators from around the greater Houston area will convene for a 2 day event to innovate, disrupt, and create commercial space companies. Entrepreneurs can bring their own ideas or use licensable intellectual property from NASA’s IP portfolio to solve some of the largest problems facing the industry. Experienced and first-time founders will form teams, ideate, and pitch their ideas to renown technology entrepreneurs, including members of the innovation teams at NASA! As part of the event, teams will be taught critical startup methodologies, advised by experienced business leaders, and network with an entire community that dreams of shaping the commercial space industry.
March will be here soon, but in the meantime, here is a

June Overview:
The month of June will begin the SCORE Summer Series with a discussion on Business Plans (BP).
Every audience looks for different information in a BP and its pitch. Lenders, equity interests, business suppliers, customers, and the founder themselves all view BPs differently. Serve them all and you create a 30 page tome with a half hour pitch which ends up being a snapshot in time that is out of date when it is finally published. The value is business planning, the process of studying the parts that make up your business and its marketplaces (buyers and suppliers), and the interaction of the players. Typical BPs are written in third person; the best ones are written in first person.
