Houston, TX, July 6, 2021 — The Cannon, an online entrepreneurial community with physical workspaces across Houston, is proud to partner with AcctTwo, an industry-leading finance and accounting firm, to host a town hall event for entrepreneurs on July 22, 2021. The town hall will commemorate The Cannon’s 4-year anniversary, as well as a prestigious honor from the City of Houston, the proclamation of The Cannon Day on July 26.

The event will gather all existing Cannon Community members, partners, and interested parties in person or virtually to inspire entrepreneurs with success stories and to learn more about everything The Cannon has to offer. AcctTwo will also showcase their commitment to the innovation ecosystem while sharing their own entrepreneurial roots. The event will include raffles and door prizes for attendees.

Lawson Gow, Founder of The Cannon, will be among the key speakers to share his success story. Gow recounts the reason why he founded the company, saying, “We started The Cannon as somewhat of a love letter to The City of Houston...We'd been told that Houston was 'at risk of being entirely shut out of the nation's innovation economy,' and that didn't sit right with us." 

Gow continued, "We love our city, and we want to push it forward—to make it stronger, better, cooler, more beautiful, more delicious, eclectic, nuanced, diverse, multicultural, more creative, and more inspired.
