As 2018 wanes and 2019 approaches, reindeer, red bows, and impending New Year’s resolutions dominate our days. At The Cannon, we know one red bow we can’t wait to unwrap in the coming year: our shiny new home!
Construction clips along daily on campus. Where months ago there was nothing but dirt, now a more complete picture is coming together. “Now that the roof is on, we are able to power through whatever weather delays Houston decides to throw at us,” noted Managing Director Brad True.
The Waiting Room never ceases to bring us new faces, knowledge, and startup synergy, and we recently crossed the 100 company threshold! But we couldn’t be more excited for our new home. As the steel skeleton on our campus evolves into a finished structure, future offices are filling up as our Founding Members pick their prized positions.
Complete with 11 conference rooms, a movie theater, wellness room, gameroom and more, The Cannon’s picturesque new office and coworking space will redefine the possibilities of startup life in Houston. We couldn’t be more excited to provide the platform and infrastructure for the brilliant grinders we welcome through our doors. And at over 50% preleased, our future home is filling fast!
